In Hingoli district, 27th sub junior fencing competition was held from 8th to 10th August 2025. This was the first time that a State Level Competition was held in Hingoli district and representations from various districts were there in the city. Maharashtra State Fencing Association and District Fencing Team have worked tirelessly to organize this state-level competition.  

Various dignitaries from MLA to District Collector, Superintendent of police and coaches from various States had graced the occasion. The whole event went on three days. The District Collector, Rahul Gupta (IAS), asserted all the participating athletes to show sportsmanship and enhance the reputation of the district.

All the events were held in district sports Complex of Hingoli district and the main Arena was created for having five consecutive fencing matches in a day. And at the end of the event, after all the matches, students from the districts of Nashik, Pune, and Ahmednagar were winners and won many events.
